Why Hire Me?
I’m staring at a blank page (yes, I’m old school) with a pen in hand, asking myself: What makes me different from every other trainer in this city? Why should you hire me?
Here’s the truth—I genuinely want to make a difference. Nothing frustrates me more than hearing someone say, “I can’t do that because of my age,” or “I’ve got an injury,” or “It’s too late for me.” My mission is to show you that it’s never too late, and you’re not too old. The real loss is not even trying.
I believe we are all meant to move. With a bit of trial and error—and always with safety first—I can guide you through effective sessions using little to no equipment or space. Equipment simply adds variety; it’s not what makes movement possible. One of my favourite moments as a trainer is watching a client surprise themselves with what they’re actually capable of.
Who Do I Work With?
I work with both general and special populations—clients from all walks of life. Specifically, I’ve helped individuals living with autoimmune conditions who were told they could never return to consistent physical activity. I’ve supported clients through knee and hip replacements—many of whom are now back to skiing, skating, and leading active lives. I also work with clients managing Parkinson’s, cancer, and other long-term health challenges.
What’s the common thread? Consistency—and being realistic about what your body can do on any given day. We focus on one day at a time, working toward safe, effective movements that build confidence and improve daily living.
Whether your goal is sports-specific, health-related, or just about overcoming a lack of time or motivation, I want to help you find a way forward.
A Little More About Me
I’ve been fortunate in my career as a personal trainer and fitness consultant to learn from incredible mentors. They taught me to keep things simple, keep it fun, and—most importantly—shut up and listen.
My clients become friends. Our sessions are full of laughter, real-life conversations, and, yes, a fair amount of swearing—on both sides! Honestly, it’s one of the best parts of my job: seeing people grow stronger, inside and out, and knowing we’re in it together.
